University Identification Numbers (UINs)

A UIN is a nine-digit number that identifies a person in University records, such as Registration, Human Resources, and Financial Aid. Each UIN is permanent and unique across all University systems and campuses. UINs are never re-assigned or re-used.

Don't know your UIN?

You may find your UIN online if you have lost or forgotten it.

Only University units may request that a UIN be created; a person may not request a UIN for himself. See UIN creation for more information.
