University Identification Numbers (UINs)

A UIN is a nine-digit number that identifies a person in University records, such as for Registration or Human Resources. Each UIN is unique and permanent across all University systems and campuses. UINs are never re-used.

Don't know your UIN?

You may find your UIN online if you have lost or forgotten it.

Only University units may request that a UIN be created. See UIN Creation and Requests on the Treasury Operations' website for instructions and a request form.
