Dragon Dollars debit account
Carry your i‑card and carry less cash! Anyone with a valid i‑card may use
UIC's campus debit account. You can use Dragon Dollar$ to pay for any of the following:
- Food and beverages.
Dragon Dollars are accepted at

Campus Housing residents may use laundry facilities for free with their i‑card.
Guests can pay with Dragon Dollars.
Patrons must use Dragon Dollars to pay for copies at UIC libraries and Student Centers.

You can add funds to your Dragon Dollars account at
several convenient locations, including
the main ID Center.
PNC Bank account
Chicago students, you may bank with your i‑card
if you open a Virtual Wallet Student account and link your i‑card to it.
Use your i‑card to access your meal plan, which is provided by UIC Dining Services.
Meal plans are available to all UIC students, faculty, and staff.
Students assessed the General fee and employees with a
membership may use
Campus Recreation facilities by presenting their i‑card.
Identification and access
Swiping or scanning your i‑card helps identify you for campus services, such as:
- Library use.
Students, employees, and many others
have borrowing privileges.
- Health care.
Students use i‑cards to check in at
Family Medicine centers.
An i‑card is not proof of medical insurance.
Use your ID card to enter and exit lots where you have a paid parking assignment.

A building's access control manager arranges this service.
Current students can present their i‑card for free entry to
UIC Athletics events. Students may also receive
discounted tickets to many UIC Pavilion events.
Many enrolled students qualify for a separate U-PASS
for Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) trains and buses. Your valid i‑card is required to pick up your U-PASS.
