If you have a Springfield i‑card, your account is already activated.
Urbana and Chicago cardholders must contact the ID Center to activate a Campus Cash account.
Once you have an account, you can add money to it at icardwallet.uis.edu
or at the ID Center.
Can I use Campus Cash without a University of Illinois ID?
Yes, you can use Campus Cash with a value card. Value cards are generic nonphoto cards
linked to Campus Cash accounts. Money added to a value card is nonrefundable;
otherwise, a value card spends Campus Cash like any other card.
If you already have a University of Illinois ID card, use it. Why carry an extra card?
How do I get and fund a value card?
You have two options:
Visit the ID Center to buy a value card and fund it.
Buy a card ($1) at a CSVT (Cash System Value Terminal) and add funds to it there.
There's a CSVT at Brookens Library and one in the Public Affairs Center, near the Cashier's Office.
(CSVTs only accept cash.)
Note: Value cards are anonymous, so any money added to them is nonrefundable and nontransferrable.
Keep your value card safe to minimize your risk of loss.
